UNIVERSAL, INC. is a 4th-generation, family-oriented trucking company proudly based in Trinidad, Colorado. With deep roots in the transportation industry, our company has hauled everything from agricultural products to petroleum, always with a focus on reliability and hard work.
In 2013, great-grandson Brad Blasi, branched off of that family legacy and launched UNIVERSAL, INC. Starting from the ground up, Brad built the company with a strong commitment to service and community. Trinidad’s strategic location made it an ideal base for petroleum transport, especially during the challenging winter months, when UNIVERSAL operated 24/7 to meet critical fuel needs.
As the seasons changed, so did the business. In the summer, we expanded to hauling fuel throughout the region. Today, UNIVERSAL, INC. is licensed to operate in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico, allowing us to transport propane and fuel within a 500-mile radius across state lines.
Family-owned and operated, we continue to grow, driven by our commitment to safe, efficient transport and a passion for serving the communities we call home. All our drivers are HAZMAT certified and have the required Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL) and tank vehicle endorsements, ensuring safe handling of hazardous materials.
To meet the highest standards, we carry hazardous materials liability insurance and adhere to strict safety protocols. This includes proper placarding on all vehicles, keeping accurate shipping papers, and providing our drivers with extensive training in emergency response, spill control, and fuel safety.
